The short version:
Adult student = 46 year old wife and mother of two children, one old enough to be in college himself.
Formerly, years and years ago, I was a communications major, Spanish minor that just had no idea why I was in college or what it meant. I didn’t have any plans at all. I was just following the rules laid out for me. Wish someone had told me what I was following them to.
I dropped out. Why should I be somewhere that had no meaning to me? Worked, married, had kids, worked, ran a business, moved around the country, worked, did some freelance stuff, decided I wanted to do more, learn more and be helpful, found Goddard College. Here I am.
